The giant General Motors narrowed and lost everything: weight, performance and rustic spirit. She was the victim of an uneducated consumer society.

Originally called Humvee, this vehicle was built as a transport and attack element for the Gulf War, where it demonstrated its conditions. His excellent design criteria and impeccable manufacturing performance earned him fame, as did the Jeep in his time or the classic Unimog .
The descendant that came to be marketed was called Hummer. He changed military equipment for interior comfort, maintaining his capabilities for cross-country activities.
The Hummer H2 is built on a modified platform, originally corresponding to the Tahoe and Suburban 4x4 trucks. It is equipped with a V8 engine of 6,000 cm3 but with a radical difference: the fuel that feeds it is no longer diesel, but naphtha.
Other changes indicating the incorporation of currently standard technology lie in the presence of ABS brake system, permanent all-wheel drive and traction control. In 2005, the H2 SUT version was released, combining the comfort and habitability of a current SUV with the loading possibilities of a work pickup.
