In 2000, at the equipment facility in Banbury, England, this concept began to take shape in the KZ1 prototype. Today, the Ascari KZ1 has been transformed from a dream to a production reality.
Inspired by the achievements of Alberto Ascari, the first two-time world champion in Formula 1 history, the Ascari KZ1 sports car offers performance comparable to other supercars. According to expert pilots, the KZ1 has good stability and maneuverability.
The Ascari KZ1 features a monocoque structure made of carbon fiber. Thus, this structure provides strength and rigidity to the central motor sport, keeping the total weight under. The design also includes aerodynamic aspects to obtain an aerodynamic drag coefficient (the CD) of 0.35.
Powered by a 4.941 cm3 V8 engine, 32 valves and 500 horsepower, the Ascari KZ1 accelerates from 0 to 100 in just 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 322 km/h.
With these excellent features, the Ascari KZ1 is on par with cars like the Porsche 911 GT3 and outperforms the Aston Martin DB9 .
In the interior, elegance is appreciated in design and finishing details. Materials were used very correctly combined, to count then with the elegance of leather, alcantara and the sporty and casual touch of polished aluminum.
Sports leather seats ensure maximum support for your occupants during sports handling. The controls made of polished aluminum and placed on the leather of the dashboard emphasize the exclusive character of the car.
And it really is an exclusive car, since it was decided that the production does not exceed 50 units.
