Ferrari 212 F1
The Ferrari 212 F1 participated in the Formula One World Championship in the 1952 season. The 212 F1 was a lightweight monoposto built on a tubular chassis. Its body was made of aluminum to reduce weight and be made quickly.

The engine was also quite light for its time thanks to the fact that both the block and cylinder head were made of lightweight alloy. The engine was V12 at 60º with a displacement of 2,562 cm3. Unlike other racing Ferrari cars, their lubrication system was not a dry crankcase.

The V12 achieved 200 hp at 7,500 rpm, driven at 240 km/h thanks to a high compression ratio of 12 to 1. The Ferrari 212 F1 had a dry single-disc clutch and a five-speed manual gearbox.
