Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
The 612 name includes the surname of successful designer Sergio Scaglietti, creator of some of the most beautiful Ferrari in history. Especially in the '50s and' 60s.

The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti combines performance and sporty spirit with Formula 1 technology and the comforts of a sedan. Pininfarina really looked out, evoking in the design the lines of the cars that Scaglietti designed.

We can say that the design has details that make it retrostyle. Contemporary sportsmanship meets the comfort needed to accommodate 4 passengers. The previous Ferrari 4-seater was the 456 M, which weighed 60 kilos more and had a lower structural stiffness than the new 612.

The Ferrari 612 features a front V12 engine at 65º 5.750 cm3, with 48 VVT (Valve Variable Timing) valves. It delivers a maximum power of 540 hp @ 7.250 rpm and a torque of 588 Nm at 5.250 rpm. The power is transmitted through a six-speed automatic gearbox with steering wheel controls such as Formula 1.

Manual mode can be used, with gear lever to the floor with the traditional H grid. It is rear wheel drive as a good sport.

Performance: acceleration and maximum speed of the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

  • Top speed: 315 km/h

Dimensions of the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

The Ferrari 612 is 4.902 mm long; 1.344 mm high and 1.957 mm wide. While the wheelbase is 2,950 mm. The trunk has 240 litres of luggage capacity, short but generous because it is a Ferrari. The 1,840 kg weight is very reasonable, since the previous Ferrari 4 seater, the 456 model, weighed 60 kilos more.

Even the 612 has a higher structural rigidity than its predecessor, allowing it to have remarkable maneuverability. The 46-54 weight distribution front and back is another engineering merit in this car. The diameter of the rims is 18 inches at the front and 19 inches at the rear wheels.
