Replaced the very well sold model 348. The Ferrari 355 appeared in the mid-1990s and was a technically quite advanced model. His successive evolutions were incorporating pioneering technology in the brand. This technology is present in current models, such as the semi-automatic gearbox with Paddle shifts, located behind the wheel as in the same Formula 1.
The 355 has independent parallelogram suspension, which is deformed on all four wheels, with coil springs and Bilstein shock absorbers of electronic adjustment.
The Ferrari 355 Berlinetta features a front V8 engine at 90° of 3.500 cm3, with 5 valves per cylinder (2 overhead camshaft) and electronic fuel injection Bosch Motronic M2.7. It produces a maximum power of 380 HP @ 8.250 RPM and a torque of 363 Nm @ 6.000 RPM. The power is transmitted through a manual 6-speed gearbox. It is rear-wheel drive with self-locking of variable frequency blades.
The Ferrari 355 measures 4.250 mm long, 1.170 mm high and 1.944 mm wide. While the wheelbase is 2,450 mm, it weighs just 1,350 kg. This allows for surprising agility. Fits 18-inch diameter magnesium rims on Pirelli PZero tires.
