The Ferrari 360 features a V8 3.600 cm3 central engine, with 40 valves VVVT (Valve Variable Timing) (DOHC). It develops a maximum power of 400 HP @ 8,500 RPM, just the RPM limit electronically arranged by the manufacturer.
The power is transmitted through a 6-speed manual gearbox with Paddle shifts behind the wheel just like that of Formula 1.
It is rear-wheel drive and the six-speed gearbox, with traction control system, allows inexperienced drivers to tame so much power. The high fuel consumption is typical for Italian sports cars, the 360 runs 4.2 km/l in the city and 6.8 km/l in the road.
The Ferrari 360 measures 4.478 mm long; 1.234 mm high and 1.922 mm wide. While the wheelbase is 2,598 mm. The low weight of 1,450 kg helps maintain good performance, especially in the acceleration with a stop start. The weight distribution 42-58 front and back is due to the fact that with the engine and the box behind the driver, balancing the weight becomes difficult. The diameter of the rims is 18 inches.
