This Chevrolet truck, originally from the 50s, is now suitable for professional stings competition. The final goal of the restoration was to achieve a competitive performance with the most powerful V8 cars ready for stings, but in turn fit to drive the streets.

Motor and Transmission

To be able to compete with special but lighter vehicles, this Chevy Pickup uses a 383 engine prepared by Edelbrock with supercharger that allows you to develop more than 600 horsepower. The supercharged 6.300 cm3 V8 has 2 valves per cylinder and transmits its power through a sequential 5-speed manual gearbox. All this allows him to travel the quarter mile in 12.4 seconds (his current record).

Chassis & Suspensions

As far as the chassis is concerned, in order to be able to tolerate the enormous torque demands that the V8 generates, a new tubular structure made of specially reinforced steel has been designed. It has independent suspensions and excellent performance. It has ventilated discs perforated on all four wheels and special and approved Goodyear tires.
