The Citroën SportLounge concept combines design elements such as irregular headlights with chrome decorative parts, which help to integrate the entire sections of the vehicle. The physiognomy makes clear the sporty and innovative character, also encouraged by the strident yellow paint. The connection by means of a chrome element that goes from the front optics to the side window is an unusual feature, although previously exhibited in a Citroën. This defines a characteristic and exclusive feature of the brand. The genes of the C4 and C6 models are present in the SportLounge.

The front of the vehicle is dominated by large air intakes and the brand's chrome logo. Doors open in front, as in cars of the 30s, thus allowing more comfortable access. The windshield rises from the hood to meet the panoramic roof, allowing excellent brightness. It is also possible to generate a greater sense of comfort and interior space in the passenger.

Although no photos of the interior were disclosed, it was anticipated that it will have analog instruments and details already present in the C4. Fixed center commands are likely to be located on the steering wheel. The driver's seat would be adjusted together with the center console, with the benefit that the shift lever is at the right distance from the driver's hand, regardless of the position of the seat or the height of the subject.

Engine data is not yet known, but if the exhaustive work carried out on the aerodynamic aspect was emphasized. Citroën representatives announced a surprising aerodynamic coefficient of 0.26.
