Ford's presentation at the Salón de Buenos Aires had two main aspects: showing the new products offered in the local market, some present abroad and the concept cars exhibition.
Among the new products stood out the new Focus Coupe Cabriolet, a vehicle perfectly designed by Pininfarina.
They then referred to the new Ford Mondeo 2008 and later the S-Max, which already enjoys good popularity in Europe.
Among the concept cars there was much talk about Iosis. This car is extremely important to Ford because it is the one that started what they called the “kinetic design”. This new trend has curved lines with sharp edges combined, always generating a feeling of dynamism and very interesting movement.
This design trend will present many of the upcoming Ford models. In fact, his influence on Mondeo 2008 is more than evident.
Another striking concept was the Ford Super Chief pick up truck, with gigantic dimensions and extremely rough appearance. Its metallic grey color, large side panels and small windows make it look like a large armored tank.
