The Toyota booth was again superb. The combination of elegance with touches of striking colours, the arrangement of vehicles and the special sectors for concept cars and racing cars stand out above many of its rivals.
The stand of this thriving company occupied an area of more than 2,100 m2 to display all its products currently present in the Argentine market, plus the brand new Fine-Thybrid prototype.
In addition, they exhibited their most representative racing cars in the world and national sphere, being the Toyota F1 and the Toyota Corolla of TC2000 respectively.
In the speech, the market leadership of the Toyota Hilux was proudly emphasized, recalling that a billion dollars were invested in the Zárate plant, Buenos Aires province, Argentina.
The same production plant of the Hilux pick up tripled its production in 2004, leaving as a contribution to society the creation of new jobs.
Events such as the sponsorship of various sports were also mentioned, citing the case of the Copa Libertadores de América (football). This sponsorship is serving ten years.
For this reason, the stand of the Japanese company presents a kind of tunnel dedicated to this football competition, full of very well presented photographs that evoke very emotional memories for fans of this sport.
As always, the brand's great commitment to technological developments for the care of the environment was clearly expressed. For this purpose, the characteristics of the Toyota Fine-T, the concept exhibited in this exhibition, were discussed.
The Toyota Fine-T is a fuel cell driven prototype that, through the use of hybrid technology and components produced from plant materials, reduces the environmental impact, not only in its construction and life cycle, but also in its final disposition.
The main features lie in the hybrid operation with an electric motor on each wheel, all-wheel drive and a fairly low weight. In addition, this model offers a solution for improving management performance on narrow streets and parking in small spaces. Its four-wheel steering system allows it to rotate 360°.
As a reference to participation in sports motorsport, the work of the official team at TC 2000 was praised. As a sample of these references, a Toyota F1 and the Toyota Corolla run by Norberto Fontana and Gabriel Furlan were exhibited at TC 2000.
Other achievements highlighted by the company's subsidiary in Argentina were the implementation of the TPS (Toyota Production System), which was awarded by Toyota Japan. This system aims to improve the quality and efficiency of its production. All this in the framework of a great recovery of the automotive industry sector in Argentina, driven by the possibility of exporting part of the production.
Later at the conference the Commercial Director of Toyota Juan Aubínspoke. His presentation began by highlighting three important issues. The first was the commercial aspect that finds Corolla and Hilux products very well positioned, both standing out in their respective segments for offering differentiating factors at extremely competitive prices.
He then emphasized the expansion of the network of concessionaires throughout the country, which has already gone from 60 premises. And as the third pillar of Toyota's success, mention was made of the very high satisfaction rate with the sales system, proudly highlighting that 90% of its customers intend to buy a Toyota again.

Equipped with 147 hp VVTi engine, the Avensishas outstanding features its large space and interior comfort complemented by its level of safety. This new Toyota product scored the highest score given by Euro NCAP.
The new Avensis is a model that stands out for its design and advanced technology that offers a high level of comfort. The exterior design is characterized by modern, dynamic lines and at the same time by its sophisticated style.
