Video of Honda's first Formula 1 win

Honda began manufacturing cars in the early 1960s. With very little experience and experience, this Japanese company developed a car to compete in Formula 1. In 1965, three years after manufacturing the first street car, Honda won its first Formula Onevictory.

This victory would come at the Mexican Grand Prix, race No. 11 in the Honda track record. The driver who led the Japanese car to victory was Ritchie Ginther. Somehow, this video serves as inspiration to show that this kind of feat is possible.

Honda's upcoming truly important Formula 1 achievements would first come in 1987 when Nelson Piquet became a champion with Williams Honda. The McLaren Honda combination later dominated the F1 for four years, in which Senna and Prost won four championships together (3 Senna and 1 Prost).
