The Ferrari 456 GT was one of the few models of the Italian brand that presented four seats. It is an interesting combination of harmonic design with maximum performance performance.

One of the most successful criteria, from the point of view of exterior design, is the handling of volumes that suggest their size without highlighting it. While it's a more robust car in appearance than other Ferrari, the integration of major volumes doesn't make it look too big.

But in order not to shrink, it has elements such as the windows and the raised and curved tail that allow you to see that it is a larger model in size. When talking about benefits, you don't have to get too excited.

The size results in many extra kilos, which have a huge impact on performance. The maneuverability is good, but it does not have the same agility of a super dynamic model as the small F355, which has 380 HP but 340 kg less than the 456 GT.

The Ferrari 456 GT features a 5.500 cm3 front V12 engine at 65°, with 48 valves (2 overhead camshaft) and double Bosch Motronic 2.7 multi-point electronic injection system. It develops a maximum power of 440 HP at 6,250 RPM and a torque of 550 Nm at 4,500 rpm. Power is transmitted through a 6-speed manual gearbox located on the rear axle to better distribute the total weight. It is rear-wheel drive, with self-locking differential ZF.

The Ferrari 456 measures 4,730 mm long; 1,300 mm high and 1,920 mm wide. While the wheelbase is 2,600 mm. The weak point of the car is the weight of 1,690 kg, although it is reasonable for its equipment.

The inconvenience arises when occupying the four seats... 4 adults make the 456 pass the 2,000 kg of weight. The car gets slower in its reactions and fuel consumption increases more than desired. Alloy wheels are 17 inches in diameter. The front is 8.5 inches wide, while the rear ones are 10 inches.
