The new Chevrolet Vectra arrived in Argentina imported from Brazil. As main features in this new generation of Vectra we can highlight its two levels of equipment and the possibility of choosing between manual or automatic box.

Design of the new Chevrolet Vectra

The design of the new Vectra is interesting because it is related to another successful product of the brand such as the Chevrolet Astra, but clearly marking differences in segment and category.

The front is defined by a large central grille and large, pronounced headlights towards the hood. The upward waist line highlights the large windows. While the back is very high and sober, with large colored optics.

Technical specifications of Chevrolet Vectra

The new 2006 Chevrolet Vectra is equipped with a 2,400 cm3 in-line four-cylinder naphthous engine. It has 4 valves per cylinder with double camshaft to the head controlled by toothed belt. This impeller develops a power of 150 hp at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 23.2 kgm at 4,000 rpm.

The standard transmission is 5-speed manual, while in the CD version the automatic four-speed option is available. This automatic version has a mode for sport use. The Vectra has front-wheel drive.

With this standard equipment, the Vectra accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10 seconds and reaches a top speed of 205 km/h.

The most modest version of the Vectra, the GLS, comes as standard double front airbag, automatic air conditioning (with outputs for the rear seats) and radio with CD and mp3 player. The most equipped version called CD has options such as DVD player, portable refrigerator, Bluetooth and a holder in the cabin to hang clothes such as sacks. On the outside stand the 17-inch wheels and the electrically activated solar roof.
