BMW M6

A lot of power and technology applied to comfort make this coupe one of the most desired. It is the best combination of elegance and comfort of a sedan with sound and power of a coupe.

With a V10 under the hood, the BMW M coupe is preparing to surprise once again with its performance. This time it is the new M6. Although in reality, its engine is the same as the previous M5 but with small differences that make it somewhat more efficient.

Many mechanical elements, both engine and suspension and transmission are present in both models. The V10 in question has 5,000 cm3 capacity and yields about 500 HP. Such an engine makes it possible for the coupe M6 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. Its maximum electronically self-limited speed is 250 km/h, and it is rumored that without limiter it would accelerate to the extraordinary 320 km/h, the speed at which it would be crazy to pretend to maneuver a vehicle that was not designed for such performance.

The transmission is carried out via a 7-speed SMG automatic gearbox, commanded from the steering wheel as in a Formula 1. It also has software assistance systems such as Drivelogic, M-Drive and DSC traction control system. The self-locking differential is fully mechanical. Tractor wheels have 19-inch diameter alloy wheels.

Another uniqueness is that the potential performance of the car becomes present only when it is needed. As a standard preset it works in urban mode. When you want to get all the expected power of V10 5.0 L, just press a button named “Power Button”.

As far as suspensions are concerned, the M6 adopts the same series 6 with some changes in the materials chosen. The adjustments to your calibration and the changes mentioned above are intended to increase the life expectancy of the suspension assembly.

The outer line is very sober. I consider that the taillights plus the union between the waist line and the trunk do not help to complete the total harmony of the body. Inside it is also elegant and refined with small wooden inserts.
