The Pagani Zonda S is another of the limited production series of this car manufactured in Italy by Pagani. It stands out for a highly aerodynamically efficient design and a level of chassis construction that makes differences from its rivals.
The bodywork ensures a remarkable aerodynamic support for its shapes plus its spoilers and spoilers. In turn, these elements collaborate with aesthetics to generate a look very similar to that of a racing car. The drag level is quite low, which improves the efficiency of the Zonda.
The engine that equips the Zonda S is the same 7.291 cm3 and 555 hp Mercedes AMG V12 used in the Zonda C12 S. The V12 delivers 555 hp power at 5,900 rpm and a maximum torque of 553 lbs ft at 4,050 rpm. To put all the power on the ground, the Zonda has a 6-speed manual gearbox that allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.
The dynamic behavior of the car is outstanding and the track tests conducted by experts stand out against other supersports.
To complete the set, the independent suspensions on all four wheels are made of aluminum alloy and have double superimposed triangles with coil springs plus adjustable shock absorbers. The possibility of adjusting the shock absorbers together with the presence of anti-roll bars ensure optimum stability in almost any ground condition.
Another important equipment, especially for a car exceeding 340 km/h, is the brake system. With ABS and hydraulic assistance, Brembo ventilated brake discs with a diameter of 355 mm (on all four wheels) have four-piston jaws.
Inside, the Zonda S has various comfort elements such as custom-made leather seats, complete instruments, aluminium pedals, stereo with CD player and exchanger, air conditioner and satellite navigation system.
The soundproofing is excellent. Another factor highly praised by experts is the absence of vibrations in the passenger compartment. In a sports car with such characteristics, this detail makes it possible to assess the good design and its manufacturing process.
+ 0 to 100 km/h: 3.7 sec + Top speed: 345 km/h
