Minimalist, small, light and very fast. A car that evokes the classic little European 60s.
The Dodge Razor is a concept car oriented to the young public, who crave to have a sports car at low cost. For this, Chrysler used many standard elements in its cars already in production.
The 6-speed gearbox was developed in Germany and the engine is an improved version of a 2,400 cm3 Chrysler, to which turbo and intercooler was added, for 250 hp power.
The Dodge Razor reaches 100 km/h in 6 seconds and a top speed of 225 km/h thanks to its low weight of 1,134 kg. The intention is to keep the price of the Razor, should it occur, at $14,500 in the USA. It would really be a very reasonable price...
The exterior was designed by Akino Tsuchiya and Kevin Verduyn, while the interior was handled by Chris Schuttera and John Sodano. His inspiration comes from the classic European cars of the 1960s, seeking to combine the essence with the modern, impregnating minimalism and simplicity, which are not the same.
